I’m a facilitator, community steward, and excitable person who loves building things with other people.

These days, I’m supporting the Bradley Street Bicycle Co-op community, writing the newsletter GROUP HUG, and designing experiences and program strategy inside the Play Lab at IDEO.

Before this, I connected people at an internationally beloved participatory museum, a voter registration org that activates diehard fans at festivals and concerts, and through experiences I’ve designed myself – like an amateur dance class or secret midnight concerts.

WHAT’S COOKING

Here’s a few things I’m working on right now – check out the full list of my past work here.

Civic Works Department

Not an official city department (yet) but an effort to boost local relationship-building in New Haven. We most recently launched the Know Your Neighbors Fund, a microgrant for local block parties and clubs.

GROUP HUG

My newsletter exploring what it really takes to be in enduring, joyful community with each other. It’s chockablock full of ideas, tools, and stories around community building, gathering, and organizing.

Bradley Street Bicycle Co-op

When I moved to town, BSBC reminded me of the power of gathering places, volunteer-led schemes, and skillsharing. I support the Co-op’s strategy, fundraising, and volunteer development and enjoy trolling the shop playlist with Mambo No. 5.
