I’m a community steward, facilitator, and excitable person who loves building things with other people.
These days, I’m launching a community building space called GROUP PROJECT, writing the newsletter GROUP HUG (yup two all caps GROUP things!), and designing experiences and program strategy inside the Play Lab at IDEO.
Before this, I connected people at an internationally beloved participatory museum, a voter registration org that activates diehard fans at festivals and concerts, and through experiences I’ve designed myself – like an amateur dance class or secret midnight concerts. Read more about it all or reach out to say hi.
WHAT’S COOKING
Here’s a few things I’m working on right now – check out the full list of my past work here.
With Neighbors
A national effort to strengthen civic life through local microgrants – a.k.a. paying for our neighbors’ parties. I’m guiding an inspiring cohort of organizers from across the country and developed a toolkit so anyone can launch their own microgrant.See more

A new community-building space
GROUP PROJECT is a new space to support locally focused projects in New Haven through relationships, resources, and skill-building. Think: flyermaking classes, side project coworking time, gatherings of gatherers. I’m a co-founder and splitting my time right now between getting wifi and becoming too excited about every possibility.See more
Civic Works Department
Not an official city department (yet) but an effort to boost local relationship-building in New Haven. We most recently launched the Know Your Neighbors Fund, a microgrant for local block parties and clubs.

When I moved to town, BSBC reminded me of the power of gathering places, volunteer-led schemes, and skillsharing. I support the Co-op’s strategy, fundraising, and volunteer development and enjoy trolling the shop playlist with Mambo No. 5.
